Four Specialized Go-Carts Stolen In Napa

Aug. 12 (BCN) -- Napa police said four specialized go-carts valued at
$26,000 were stolen last week from Extreme Motorsports in Napa.

Detective Kirk Premo said this afternoon that a window of the establishment
was broken and a door was removed around 11 p.m. Aug. 4 to get the carts out
of the business at 2750 Jefferson St. Premo said the go-carts were probably
hauled away in a truck.

The carts are unique and are imported from Italy making it difficult to
obtain parts, police said.

The chassis on each go-cart is blue with multi-colored stickers over blue
plastic body work. Sticker kits are red, blue and silver with a yellow panel
on the front panel, police said.

The go-carts are equipped with billet aluminum gas and brake pedals,
aluminum wheels, white and blue steering wheel and clear, white plastic fuel
tanks. Two of the carts have an 80 cc motor and two have a 125 cc motor.
