June 16 (AP) -- A California contractor was found dead in his hotel room in
Iraq Sunday, apparently of natural causes.

40-year old Shaun Fyfe, of Tracy, died of unspecified natural causes and not
as a result of any violence, according Glenn Sweatt, a spokesman for
Burlingame-based Environmental Chemical Corporation International.

Fyfe was working with the company on various construction projects in Iraq,
including rebuilding schools, the spokesman said.

Fyfe's family was awaiting autopsy results.

The family did not return calls for comment Wednesday.
